Purple Appoints Former Walmart Exec as Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO

Purple Innovation, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRPL) (“Purple”), the leader in comfort innovation and the creator of the renowned Purple® Mattress, appoints Anthony Carbone to Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO.

Carbone is an entrepreneurial and innovative technology leader with a proven track record of achievement in corporate strategy, strategic planning, product management, sales channels & operations, financial modeling, and strategic partnerships. He joins Purple from Walmart eCommerce where he was most recently the Head of Strategic Marketplace Partnerships & Business Development, Partner Acquisition. Carbone managed the business development team focused on acquiring strategic partners for Walmart’s Marketplace & DSV platforms. Prior to Walmart, he led enterprise strategic planning, business development, and sales at PNY Technologies and was VP, Marketing and Corporate & Business Development at Fastor Systems. Carbone has held strategic leadership roles at Sandisk, Allianz Global Investors, J.P. Morgan, and Hitachi. He was also a captain in the US Army.

Carbone holds a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Harvard Business School.
