Zekelman Industries Names Steve Simpson as Vice President, Electrical Sales
Zekelman Industries, the largest independent steel pipe and tube manufacturer in North America, and an innovator in integrated real estate development, named Steve Simpson as Vice President, Electrical Sales.
In this role, Simpson will have full commercial responsibility for Wheatland Tube, Western Tube, and Picoma — three of Zekelman’s operating companies.
Simpson has more than 20 years in the electrical industry in a variety of leadership roles. In his previous role as VP, Global Strategic Accounts at nVent, he grew the company’s account coverage to more than $1.2 billion.
“Steve has a proven track record of driving top and bottom-line growth,” said Jim Hays, President, Electrical Division, Zekelman. “He is very strategic minded and knows how to create demand for value-added products and services at multiple levels within the channel.”
Simpson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis University.
