Rothy’s Appoints Brian Wehner as Vice President, Supply Chain
Rothy’s, the innovative lifestyle brand that specialized in creating sustainable footwear, appointed Brian Wehner as Vice President, Supply Chain.
Wehner has a demonstrated history in global supply chain, operations, and strategic planning executive roles in the apparel, footwear, home, and beauty industries. He joins Rothy’s from Sketchers where he served as Vice President and General International Operations. Prior to that, he held operations leadership positions at The Collected Group, ASICS America, Lojas Renner S.A., and Lululemon where he led and delivered customer-centric DTC and wholesale supply chain strategies. Wehner earned his MBA from Auburn University and his BA, Economics from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Rothy’s recently announced that Alpargatas, the Brazilian footwear company behind Havianas flip-flop brand will acquire a 49.9% stake in the company. After a $200 million investment in private capital, Alpargatas will acquire nearly $275 million of Rothy’s shares from current stockholders, creating a post-investment valuation of $1 billion.
