Mechanix Wear, a global leader in the design and manufacture of premium work gloves and part of the Gryphon Investors portfolio, has appointed Helen Hong to Vice President, Supply Chain.
As VP, Supply Chain, Helen oversees global supply chain and operations for Mechanix Wear, including integrated business planning, demand planning, procurement, supply planning and inventory management. Helen joined Mechanix Wear from K-Swiss Global Brands where she served as Vice President of Global Supply Chain. At K-Swiss, Helen led global supply chain for all brands including K-Swiss, Palladium, PLDM, Supra, KR3W and OTZ shoes. Prior to that, Helen spent seven years at QuickSilver where she was most recently SVP of America’s Planning and Global Footwear and Snow Hard Goods, and eight years at DC Shoes where she was Director of Footwear and Snow Hard Goods, Material & Production.
Helen graduated from the University of California, San Diego having majored in Pharmacological Chemistry.
