GCP Elects Two New Board of Directors.

Janet Giesselman and Linda Welty elected to GCP’s Board of Directors.  

 

June 4, 2020 – GCP Applied Technologies Inc. (NYSE:GCP), a leading global provider of construction products technologies, has elected Janet Giesselman and Linda Welty to the Board of Directors (the “Board”).

 

ABOUT JANET GIESSELMAN

Ms. Giesselman is the retired President and General Manager of Dow Oil & Gas, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company, a global manufacturer of agriculture, energy, specialty and commodity chemicals. From 2001 to 2010, she held numerous senior leadership positions throughout the organization and across geographies. Before joining Dow, Ms. Giesselman held various leadership positions in sales, marketing, and strategic planning with Rohm & Hass Company, a specialty and performance materials company. Currently, Ms. Giessleman is an independent director and consultant focusing on strategic planning and execution for companies with international growth objectives.

 

ABOUT LINDA WELTY

Ms. Welty maintains an active board portfolio, serving as independent director on the boards of specialty chemical producer, Huber Engineered Materials, and forest products provider, Mercer International, Inc. as well as two non-profits: Atlanta’s Chapter of NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) where she serves as Chairman, and St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation. Ms. Welty’s global industrial career spans more than 40 years in corporate governance, executive leadership, operational, sales and marketing roles in the chemical, specialty chemical, natural resources and energy industries.  As a C-suite executive of global chemical businesses, Ms. Welty led formulation and execution of growth strategies in mature and embryonic markets, entry in emerging world markets, business turnaround and restructuring initiatives.
