Frontdoor Hires VP of Procurement & Supply Chain
Juan Fernandez Named VP, Head of Procurement and Supply Chain
May 13, 2020 – Frontdoor, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTDR), the nation’s leading provider of home service plans, has appointed Juan Fernandez to Vice President, Head of Procurement and Supply Chain.
Fernandez was most recently at Carnival Corporation where he held various roles in supply chain and sourcing, including his last role as VP, Strategic Sourcing. In addition to helping drive strategic sourcing initiatives at Carnival for over six years, he previously held strategic roles at McKinsey & Company and American Express. Fernandez received his MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Florida International University.
He joins a growing organization that is actively driving value to its customer base during the pandemic crisis. With homeowners across the country seeking shelter at home due to COVID-19, it is more important than ever to ensure home systems are running efficiently. Announced in May 2020, Frontdoor is partnering with CLEAResult, the largest provider of energy efficiency and demand response solutions in North America, to provide Streem technology to utilities to deliver virtual energy assessments to homeowners.
