Columbia Sportswear Names Michelle Ave General Manager, Global Apparel
Columbia Sportswear, a leading innovator in active outdoor apparel, footwear, accessories, and equipment, recently appointed Michelle Ave as GM, Global Apparel.
Ave is an seasoned product leader with over 20 years of experience spent working in the outerwear and sportswear sectors for companies including The North Face, Brooks Running Company, Under Armour, Adidas Group, and Reebok International. Prior to joining Columbia Sportswear, Ave worked as an athletic and outdoor apparel business strategist, consulting with prAna Living and HOKA. At The North Face she served in multiple product leadership roles, most recently Senior Product Director of Global Sportswear, where she led product creation and strategy initiatives across the Men’s, Women’s, and Youth departments.
Ave earned her MBA from The University of Montana and BS from Villanova University.
