BNSF appoints former Lockheed Martin exec, Andrew Ruiz, to Vice President and Chief Sourcing Officer

BNSF Railway Company (BNSF), one of North America’s leading freight transportation companies, has appointed Andrew (Drew) Ruiz to Vice President and Chief Sourcing Officer.

Ruiz joins BNSF as a seasoned supply chain leader having spent over 18 years at Lockheed Martin, most recently as the Vice President – F-35, Supply Chain Management. At Lockheed, Ruiz was the primary interface between SCM, program management, and customers for supply chain strategies, execution, and performance for F-35. Prior to his experience at Lockheed, Ruiz started his career in sales and business development roles at Centra Software, Aerobotics, and Avery Dennison.

Ruiz earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian University – M.J. Neeley School of Business.
