BetterCloud Appoints Three Executive Positions
BetterCloud appoints Peter Marsh to Vice President, Security & Compliance, Daniel Waithe to Vice President, Quality and Stephen Dick to Vice President, Site Reliability Engineering
BetterCloud, the leading SaaSOps platform for managing and securing the digital workplace, has appointed Peter Marsh as Vice President of Security and Compliance, Daniel Waithe as Vice President of Quality, and Stephen Dick as Vice President, Site Reliability Engineering. ON has collaborated with BetterCloud on several executive appointments over the last few years as the organization continues its growth and success. In May 2020, BetterCloud announced it had closed a $75 million financing round led by Warburg Pincus, a leading global private equity firm focused on growth investing.

Peter Marsh brings over twenty years of IT and information security experience in SaaS and IaaS industries to BetterCloud. Prior to joining BetterCloud, Peter designed, implemented, and maintained information security oversight for ForeFlight, an organization that improves situational awareness, increases productivity and simplifies decision making for pilots and flight crews all over the world. Peter has held security leadership positions at Spredfast, Hosted Services, Inc., Kinnser Software, Affiniscape, The Home Depot, and Rackspace Hosting. He earned his Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management and Policy from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Daniel Waithe is an experienced engineering leader with a demonstrated history of working at large-scale SaaS companies. Prior to joining BetterCloud, Daniel spent over four years at MailChimp, most recently as the Director of Engineering. He was Senior Director of Operations and Customer Success at Chatsuite and Director of Quality Assurance at Connectik Technologies. Additionally, he has held quality assurance roles at BliNQ Media, NetRoadShow, UsableNet, and CitiGroup, to name a few. Daniel was the founder of Kovered, a talent sourcing and workflow management platform for branded entertainment. He served as a Board Member – Technology Chair for The Parris Foundation. Daniel earned his BS in Organizational Management from Nyack College.
Stephen Dick builds global customer-centric teams that ensure the high availability of mission-critical systems, high CSAT, and lower customer churn. Prior to joining BetterCloud, Stephen spent over four years at Salesforce where he was most recently the Head of Site Reliability Engineering, building a new Engineering team to address gaps identified in MuleSoft’s S-1. He was Senior Director of Customer Engineering at Marketo (acquired by Vista Equity Partners), where he built and expanded a customer-centric engineering team internationally. Stephen previously held various engineering roles at SAP and Madden & Finucane Solicitors, Sky UK. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Management and Information Systems at Queen’s University Belfast.
