Benefitfocus Names Kevin Heineman as Chief Information Security Officer
Benefitfocus, an industry-leading cloud-based benefits administration technology company that simplifies benefits administration for employers, health plans and brokers, recently appointed Kevin Heineman as Chief Information Security Officer.
As Chief Information Security Officer, Heineman will be responsible for developing and executing information security strategy to establish and maintain an enterprise-wise security software to mitigate cyber risk and protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical business and customer data and infrastructure. Heineman joins Benefitfoucs from Global Payments where he served in multiple cyber risk security leadership positions, most recently as the Senior Vice President, Information Security.
Heineman received his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas and an MBA from Rice University.
