ON Partners, a pure-play retained executive search firm building diverse C-level and board leadership teams, announced the firm has been ranked #1 on Crain’s Cleveland Business Best Employers 2023 list for small-to-medium-sized businesses.

The firm was founded in 2006 in Cleveland, OH, and has since expanded beyond its headquarters nationally to include offices in Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Boston, San Francisco, Annapolis, Minneapolis, and Orlando.

The annual list of the Best Employers in Ohio was created by Best Companies Group in partnership with Crain’s Cleveland Business and Crain’s Content Studio-Cleveland. This statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Ohio, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce, and businesses. The 2023 Best Employers in Ohio list is made up of 60 companies. This is the fifth year Crain’s Content Studio-Cleveland has published the Best Employers in Ohio list in partnership with Best Companies Group. Best Companies Group has been conducting this survey since 2006.

Last year, ON Partners was named fifth on Crain’s Cleveland Best Employers 2022. In addition to the Best Employers award, ON announced in a press release earlier this year it’s #22 executive recruiting firm ranking in Forbes, along with being named one of America’s best executive search firms by Hunt Scanlon, listed as one of the only pure-play executive search firms in the top 20 with organic growth. ON recently announced the appointment of Jin Ro as Chief Product Officer to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the firm’s product, technology, and data. Earlier this year, the firm recorded a 115% three-year revenue growth rate and has built out its executive leadership team to continue its expansion into growth markets, including the appointment of partners Matt Mooney and Tim Conti as co-presidents.

As non-conformists focused on taking an untraditional approach to executive search, ON consultants continue to place C-level, board, and senior executives across multiple industries and functions, with an increasing focus on senior executive placements in the cleantech/sustainability, private equity, consumer, and life sciences sectors. Recent placements include C-level appointments for companies including  La-Z-Boy, ETQ, IGM Biosciences, and Baker Hughes.
