With over 30 years of combined technology search experience, Barrett and Harris have forged lasting relationships with top industry leadership while with Cook Associates. They specialize in senior assignments, including C-Suite, Board, and functional leadership for private equity and venture-backed portfolio companies as well as high-growth Fortune 1000 companies.
John Barrett is an expert in technology and business services with a focus on software, big data, business services, digital media, consumer Internet, financial technology and marketing services. He began his recruiting career with Russell Reynolds Associates where he led the North American Financial Technology Practice and was a member of the firm’s global Financial Services and Technology Practices.
Before becoming an executive recruiter, John enjoyed a successful career in marketing, sales and corporate strategy with organizations including Citi f/i (financial interactive), an ambitious Internet start-up for the Global Consumer Bank at Citigroup; Mars & Co, an international strategy consulting firm; and ICI Americas, the U.S. subsidiary of the British chemicals conglomerate.
Seth Harris’ industry expertise includes software (SaaS), cloud technologies, business process outsourcing, data analytics, and mobile applications. Seth began his executive search career as a founding member of Christian & Timbers’ (now known as CTPartners) Boston office. He established and grew the software and data networking practice nationally, which defined Christian & Timbers’ position as a leading brand for technology assignments. Later he joined DHR International as Managing Director and Global Practice Leader for their Advanced Technology sector.
Seth’s career began at IBM Corporation where he spent a decade serving in sales management and marketing roles, and was recognized nationally with IBM’s Leadership Award.
