At resignation, current employers are countering with massive pay increases to retain executives because of the competitiveness of the market, since it’s easier to pay more than to launch a new search.”
Bolger continued, “Employers are willing to let marketers stay in their current location vs relocating, with a focus on hiring the best talent in the market. This is becoming an expectation for top candidates – to live wherever they want to live, particularly those with geographically dispersed teams.
