Elaine Sapinoso Named Senior Vice President of Quality at IGM Biosciences
IGM Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: IGMS), a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on creating and developing engineered IgM antibodies, recently appointed Elaine Sapinoso as the Senior Vice President of Quality.
Sapinoso has a decorated history serving in senior Quality leadership roles at global drug development and manufacturing organizations supporting biologics drug substance and drug product operations, and provided leadership across Quality functions including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Validation. She joins IGM Biosciences from Abzena where she was the the Senior Vice President of Global Quality. Prior to that, she was Vice President of QUality and Regulatory as Aji BioPharma. Throughout her 26 years in Quality positions, she has led manufacturing facilities through successful regulatory site inspections resulting in eleven commercial facility and product approvals.
Sapinoso earned a B.S. in Biology from De La Salle University, and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles with a specialization in Corporate Governance.
