Scott Weber Appointed as General Counsel to Intelligence and Cybersecurity Solutions Provider
A10 Networks, a leading provider of intelligent and automated cybersecurity solutions, recently appointed Scott Weber as general counsel, corporate secretary, and executive vice president.
In this role, Weber is responsible for leading corporate compliance-related activities and serving as lead counsel for international operations, corporate strategy, global marketing, and regulatory matters for the cybersecurity company. He joins A10 Networks from Workday where he spent three years managing a dedicated commercial legal team in support of the North America large sales organization and Workday’s global contracts operations team.
Prior to Workday, Weber served as Lumina Networks’ general counsel in San Jose, Calif. after relocating from Singapore where he had spent 10 years leading Juniper Networks’ Asian Legal department.
Weber earned his JD in law from Southern Methodist University and his BA from Emory University.
A recent press release published by A10 discussed how organizations are increasingly employing zero trust principles to protect their digital infrastructure and announced that Frost & Sullivan evaluated A10’s DDoS protection solutions, along with several other vendors, and awarded A10 the “2021 Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Leadership award for global DDoS mitigation, for excellence in best practices.”
In addition, to further support customers’ cybersecurity needs and contribute to global solutions to cyber threats, A10 announced that it recently joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), which is an ecosystem of independent software vendors and managed security service providers that have integrated their solutions to better defend against a world of increasing threats.
