Biocore, a high-performing ensemble of diverse experts from a broad range of fields to tackle the tough challenges of injury prevention across industries, named Hans Deutmeyer as the organization’s next President.
Hans Deutmeyer is a proven executive with over 25 years of experience in building and scaling technology and data-driven businesses. Hans has held global leadership roles in hardware, software, data, sports, and entertainment-driven companies. Areas of expertise include business and product strategy, business development, sales and marketing, growth, go-to-market, product management and product development, data analytics, and operations.
Prior to joining Biocore, Hans was President of Trackman Baseball, a global leader in sports data and technology. Ubiquitous at the MLB, NCAA, and top amateur levels, Trackman changed the sport of baseball by driving the latest data and analytics craze in the game. Hans owned the P&L, was responsible for Trackman Baseball’s 10X growth, and led all aspects of the business, including global sales and marketing, business development, product development, data analytics, and operations.
Prior to Trackman, Hans held executive roles in both start-ups and large corporations. He led all business and go-to-market efforts for a successful and award-winning hardware and software start-up. Hans was also Vice President, HBO GO / MAX GO, for Home Box Office, responsible for overseeing the product strategy, development, production, go-to-market efforts, and management of HBO’s subscription-based streaming video services. Hans played an instrumental role in the national launch and roll-out of the highly successful and acclaimed brand extensions, HBO GO and MAX GO, along with the launch of the HBO GO mobile app available for iPad®, iPhone® and select Android™ Smartphones, and making the service available on multiple consumer platforms including the Roku® streaming player, Samsung Smart TVs™ and Microsoft Xbox® gaming consoles.
Prior to joining HBO, Deutmeyer was a product manager and design engineer at General Motors and has multiple entrepreneurial successes.
Deutmeyer holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
