Alan Daines Named Chief Information Security Officer at Baker Hughes
Baker Hughes, an energy technology company that provides solutions to energy and industrial customers worldwide, recently announced the appointment of Alan Daines as Chief Information Security Officer.
Daines has a decorated history serving in IT security and infrastructure roles for organizations including Dell, Fortive, and FactSet. As Senior Vice President and CISO, Daines will be responsible for managing risk, maintaining compliance, and securing the enterprise environment for the company. Prior to joining Baker Hughes, Daines served as The Chief Information Security Officer at Fortive where he drove the cybersecurity program across their operating companies. During his two decades at Dell and Dell EMC, he was most notably their global chief information security officer aligning the Dell and EMC’s security organizations.
Alan is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc (ISC2).
