Allegro Microsystems Names Houssam Amer as New Chief Digital and Information Officer
Allegro Microsystems (“Allegro”) (Nasdaq: ALGM), a global leader in power and sensing semiconductor solutions for motion control and energy efficient systems, named Houssam Amer as new Chief Digital and Information Officer.
Amer joins Allegro Microsystems from L3Harris Technologies where he served most recently as the Vice President of Digital Transformation. Prior to that, he was the Vice President, IT Strategy & Applications at Harris Corporation. Amer has held additional IT and global consulting roles at Mahindra and ITWorx.
He earned his MBA, Business Administration from Purdue University, MS, Computer Science from Miami University, and BSC, Computer Science from the American University in Cairo.
