Amy Altman Named New Senior Vice President, Head of Technology
Wood Mackenzie, the leading global provider of data and analytics solutions for the renewables, energy and natural resources sectors, named Amy Altman as Senior Vice President, Head of Technology.
Amy is responsible for Engineering, Architecture, and Technical Program Management (TPM) at WoodMac, forging strong ties with the IT department to foster seamless collaboration across Technology, IT, and Product spheres. Working hand in hand with segment leadership, Amy champions innovative strategies to propel product launches, revenue growth, and operational streamlining.
With a decorated career of expertise, Amy stands as a seasoned software engineering luminary, boasting a stellar history of cultivating and guiding substantial engineering cohorts across diverse sectors such as SaaS, Technology, Finance, Healthcare, and Education.
She joins Wood Mackenzie from Parson where she served as the SVP, Engineering & Chief Technology Officer HE. Additionally, she has held Chief Technology roles at Nasdaq and Vecna.
Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree, Electrical and Computer Engineering from San Diego State University.
