FreshEdge appoints former Sysco finance executive, Jason Calabrese, to Chief Financial Officer
FreshEdge, a family of produce and specialty food companies backed by Rotunda Capital Partners, has appointed Jason Calabrese as Chief Financial Officer.
Calabrese is an experienced finance executive in both large and small organizations providing strategic direction in complex environments and managing with full P&L responsibility. Most recently, he was the Senior Vice President of Finance for Harvest Sherwood Food Distributors, a multi-billion dollar grocery distributor where his responsibilities included financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, field finance, and transformation. Prior to that, Calabrese spent over thirteen years combined at Sysco where he was most recently the Chief Financial Officer – Northeast Market. In between his time at Sysco, he was the Vice President of Finance at Performance Food Group, a multi-billion dollar distribution company within the Blackstone Group L.P. portfolio.
Calabrese earned his BSBA in Accounting at The Ohio State University.
