Greenlight Guru Appoints Dan Thompson as Chief Sales Officer and Jeff Perkins as Chief Marketing Officer
Greenlight Guru, the leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for MedTech companies, announced the appointment of two new experienced leaders to join their executive team: Dan Thompson as Chief Sales Officer and Jeff Perkins as Chief Marketing Officer.

We were looking for two exceptional leaders with the experience to help accelerate our continued growth, and that’s exactly what Dan and Jeff bring to the table.”
These hires come at the end of a successful 2022 for Greenlight Guru that saw substantial growth while acquiring several companies, including Denmark-based SMART-TRIAL. In 2021, the company received a $120 million investment from JMI Equity.
Dan Thompson, Greenlight Guru’s new CSO, is an experienced go-to-market executive with over 15 years of building and leading high-performing teams through periods of rapid growth. Dan comes to Greenlight Guru from Workday, which he joined through the acquisition of Peakon where he led commercial operations for the US, Canada, and Latin America. His people-first, process-oriented approach to strategy and execution has enabled him to drive consistent, sustainable results at both scale-ups and public companies, including Dialpad, Smarsh, and Symantec. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Winona State University and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University.

Jeff Perkins is an experienced executive who has held leadership roles at several high-growth technology companies, including ParkMobile, QASymphony (now Tricentis), PGi, and Autotrader US. In his most recent role at ParkMobile, he helped establish the company as the #1 parking app in the U.S., growing revenue by 233% over the past five years. Jeff started his career in the New York advertising industry working at Saatchi & Saatchi and Havas, and is the author of the book How Not to Suck at Marketing. He holds a BA from American University and an MBA from Emory University.
