Former SiriusXM Exec Joins Tidel as Executive Vice President of Product and Engineering
Tidel, a world leader in cash management systems, designed for a variety of retail applications, has appointed Peter Polit to Executive Vice President of Product and Engineering. As Tidel’s Executive Vice President of Product and Engineering, Peter leads all of Tidel’s Product Management and Engineering Design functions.
Peter has over 25 years of experience in building, growing, and operating world-class advanced technology businesses in CTO, GM, and Vice President roles both domestically and internationally. These include signal compression, multiplex, and security, large digital delivery network design and deployment, digital content creation and post-production equipment design, telco, cable, and wireless networks and subscriber devices, connected vehicle architectures and services, a wide range of IoT solutions, and novel digital mobile payments solutions. Prior to joining Tidel, Peter served as Vice President and General Manager, Connected Vehicle Strategy, Partnerships, and Product Management at SiriusXM.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science with Distinction and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
