Recognizing Diverse Leaders And Organizations

Feb 9, 2021

The ON community of executive leaders and organizations is making progress on our important DEI journey, recognizing the great strides made in 2020

As a values-driven executive search firm, we believe a better experience starts with a more diverse experience. We understand our unique position of influence as executive search consultants, and our responsibility to help increase the number of diverse executives in business in collaboration with our ON community of leaders.

In 2020, we committed to further integrating diversity initiatives into the fabric of our daily operations and client deliverables to take an active approach to DEI; not simply in words, but with tangible actions and results. While there is still much work to be done, we want to recognize a sample of the organizations and executive leaders within our community that have made great strides in building diverse leadership teams.

Celebrating more diverse leaders in executive positions

In 2020, 37% of all executive search assignments ON completed were diverse leadership placements. We have placed over 200 diverse executives in leadership positions in the last few years.

Organizations on the path to building strong, diverse leadership teams

In the executive search industry, we have the responsibility to ensure that there are more diverse voices and experiences in leadership positions.  And, we work with a community of executives across organizations that, on a daily basis, understand the importance of attracting and maintaining a diverse set of perspectives on their leadership team.

Research has repeatedly shown that diversity, inclusion, and business performance go hand in hand.  According to a recent McKinsey report, diverse companies are more likely than ever to outperform less diverse competitors.

We’d like to celebrate a few of the organizations within our ON community that have taken great measures to build diverse leadership teams over the past few years:
